THE WORKOUT DEETS

The class started with a warm up. We alternated steps on the aerobic step and got our heart rates going. Susanna gave a quick intro to what would follow. The class is divided into three sections. During each section, we did several workout routines repetitively targeting various parts of our body. At the end of each section, we would get a water break before beginning the next.

Repetition was a big aspect of the exercises, which went consistently to the tempo of the fun songs that were on. Each workout sequence involved resistance training, often with the heavier set of dumbbells that we chose when we set up at the beginning.

Expect to make your thighs, biceps, and triceps the most sore. There are some ab workouts but not as much as the others. There is definitely emphasis on movements that emphasize multiple parts of the body which keeps it from becoming boring.
